Duke TIP is a nonprofit organization that supports bright students, nurtures their academic talents, and provides the resources they need to reach their highest potential.  Students scoring in the top 5 percent on their grade-level tests are eligible to join.  Liberation Academy supports our scholars with personalized learning plans in our blended learning environment.

Students thrive when their achievements are acknowledged. They learn best when they’re individually challenged, encouraged, and inspired.  Liberation Academy offers the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) elementary school recognition program to help our scholars soar to greatness.

Title I, Part A is a federal program that provides funding to schools who serve children from low-income families to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards.  Liberation Academy uses the grant funds to hire and retain highly qualified interventionists to support Literacy instruction in our classrooms.  Through this program, we also provide Response to Intervention (RTI) for our scholars that need additional help in the classroom.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program recognizes public and private elementary, middle, and high schools based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. Every year the U. S. Department of Education seeks out and celebrates great American schools, schools demonstrating that all students can achieve to high levels.   Liberation Academy has been nominated as an Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools for 2018.

Capturing Kids’ Heart is a process that Liberation Academy implemented to develop a culture of mutual respect through meaningful relationships with students, parents and teachers.  CKH helps Liberation Academy create an effective environment for learning and to develop self-managing, high-performing classrooms using team-building skills and a Social Contract.

Arrow Acting Up Fine Arts Program enriches the lives of students through music, visual arts, dance and theatre. Through stage productions and thematic art exhibitions, students are challenged to grow as artists, orators and are shaped into globally aware citizens.
