Dear Parents and Guardians,

Greetings and welcome to 4th - 6th grade Math.  I hope everyone had a relaxing summer!  I find myself just as busy preparing to meet the needs for each student this year as I did last year.  Thank you for allowing me the honor of educating your child as he/she continues their awesome educational journey.

This is my eighth year with Arrow Liberation Academy and my 17th overall in the educational field.  I teach with passion and purpose, the expectations will be high, and student results will be realized with plenty of structure and hard work.  My teaching philosophy is simple: Teach students to "Think and Reason" and have them ask the "Why" questions so they can fully UNDERSTAND rather than purely memorizing.

If you need to contact me, please do not hesitate.  I can be reached by the following: Joseph.Roswell@Arrowacademy.org or 346-754-5867.

Regards,
Mr. Roswell

Parents,
Please remind your child to study for the upcoming Math Unit Test which will be given this Wednesday.

4th grade- Geometry unit covering the various types of lines and classifications of polygons based on attributes such as (acute, perpendicular, and obtuse angles as well as the presence or absence of parallel lines).

5th grade- Patterns on a coordinate plane (using equations to find input/output patterns x and y variables).
